Completed some more N Gauge Society open wagon kits ahead of the layout visiting the Macclesfield show 20-21 April.
LMS-5-plank (added door bangers; the tall tarp load is fodder)
LMS 3-plank (the A containers are also NGS kits)
LMS SOLE ballast wagons (converted from the 3-plank kit)
BR SHOCK wagons
Various empty coal wagons
(Tarpaulins from Geoscenics; rope is EZ Line.)
Some kits recommend filing the coupling shank thinner to allow the coupling to lift and decouple cleanly; I now do this for all kits. I also remove the lugs under the kit floor which I find don't reliably make the coupling sit level, and instead use the Peco supplied coupling plugs which do.
