I am indebted to James Cookson for giving me some old plans of the railway through Macclesfield.

The first 3 are marked "LMS" but undated, in a scale of 1:500. and show the mainline from S of Central to the tunnel entry N of Hibel Road, plus the complete Exchange Sidings on the Bollington line. The next 3 appear older and show the complete line from Macc to Prestbury at 1:800. The last 2 are dated 1968 and show the former Macc station sites after the new station was built, at 1:1250.
