Can you ever take too many locos to a show?

Almost every rake on Macclesfield Hibel Road Model Railway has a backup loco in case there’s a problem. Today I serviced and ran all the 1950 ones (there is a 1960 set too) ahead of my next outing at Warrington, end October.

To answer my own question, while servicing I found the loco for one of the only 2 trains without a backup needs to go away for repair. So I clearly don’t have enough locos yet!
